About Us

Who We Are

Joy Onyesoh Foundation is a national not for profit organization founded in 2017. The organization was borne out of a deep passion for service to humanity and a desire to facilitate sustainable development that is people centred.

The foundation is committed to making positive impacts in the lives of Nigerians. We focus on building resilient communities by enhancing the capacities of individuals and groups across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

The foundation’s strategic plan lays out its mission, vision, values and defines five goals that will guide the board and staff decisions and actions. The three-year strategic plan builds on JOF’s values that has proven key to building resilient and sustainable communities,

where individuals and groups do not benefit from social, economic and political change.

The strategic objectives of JOF are to:

Promote programmes that will enhance the health education of women.

Advocate and provide platforms for women Education.

Create avenues for women to acquire resources for means of livelihood.

Advocate and provide aid for vulnerable and indigent women and girls.

5

Promote a culture of zero tolerance for all forms of violence against women and children.

6

Facilitate and strengthen the acquisition of the leadership skills for women and girls.
